The admission requirements for UK universities are listed below:

Undergraduate admissions requirements

1. Secondary certificate (WAEC or NECO) – applicants must have passed six subjects at a minimum of C6 which MUST include English. For example, to study engineering; it must include Mathematics and Physics
2. Two references from the School that you have previously studied
3. Passport data page
4. English Proficiency – IELTS with minimum score of 5.5 overall, with no less than 5.5 in any individual component or Pearson Academic 52

Postgraduate admissions

1. Degree certificate or Statement of results
2. Degree transcript – normal expectation is a minimum of a lower second class honours degree
3. An up to date CV
4. Personal statement explaining why you want to do the course – please detail any work experience
5. Passport data page
6. Two references – one must be from the University where you graduated. The second referee can be your place of employment or from a different lecturer at the University where you graduated. All references MUST be on a headed paper
7. Research proposal of minimum 1200 and maximum1500 words (PhD applicants only)
8. Certificate of proficiency in English (TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.5 or Pearson Academic 55)
